In Loving Memory of Buckshot DeBolt

July 31, 2012 ~ October 22, 2026

Buckshot DeBolt was a little dog with a big personality, and a heart that was every bit as special as his beautiful and unique coat. Though he may have been tiny in size, he left an enormous paw print on the hearts of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Buckshot was known for his loyalty, which he had in abundance. He rarely barked, but everyone knew him and recognized his familiar whining. He adored his big-little sister, Grace, and his love for his family was evident in everything he did. His nickname was Baby Weather, and spoiled is certainly an understatement when it came to this little guy!

Buckshot's favorite thing in the world was his mommy. You rarely saw one without the other. He loved going for car rides, hanging his head out the window, enjoying walks, and taking naps. But perhaps his favorite place of all was in his mommy's arms. He hardly ever had to use his little legs because he was almost always being carried and loved.

Throughout his life, Buckshot met many people and touched countless hearts. His little presence brought so much happiness, companionship, and unconditional love to those around him. He was more than just a pet; he was family, a constant companion, and a beloved little soul who made every day a little brighter.

Buckshot leaves behind his loving family, including Karissa DeBolt, Grace Gultridge, Mike, Amanda, Braylon, Sophia DeBolt, Penny Hill, Nora Lee Sato, and Mollie Mae, who will forever cherish the memories, the little moments, and the unconditional love he gave so freely.

Though saying goodbye is never easy, his family can take comfort in knowing just how much love they shared and how lucky they were to have had him in their lives.

As his family so beautifully expressed:

“How lucky am I to have loved something so much that it makes saying goodbye this hard.”

Run free, sweet Buckshot. Your little paws may no longer walk beside those who love you, but the prints you left on their hearts will last forever. You will always be loved, always be missed, and never be forgotten. ❤️
